Maybe somebody could help me get this game working right.
It loads fine, but not all of the text is shown. When I set it to compatibly mode, the text disappears completely. Also it jerks in game when the mouse moves over a click-able item, and the movies mess up and get stuck.
I've tried
Windows compatibly mode

DXGL
Any ideas?
My system specs
Windows 10 Pro x64
AMD FX8350 CPU
Geforce 1060 6GB

We checked with the publisher of the game and as you have a very nice and modern setup and the game is old, they thought it might be a screen resolution problem and their suggestion was that you try to change the screen resolution to a lower resolution.

I just tried 1024x768, 800x600, and 640x480. I didn't know what resolution the game was intended to be set at.
It still has the same issues, but maybe with a little less jerking. The movies seems to play, but the subtitles are blank.
The biggest problem is the mouse and menus disappearing, and the inventory is always blank.
I'm thinking it has more to do with windows 10

Sorry about that. Yeah, it might be a Windows 10 compatibility issue as it's not really made for that operating system and the game is unfortunately not supported/updated by the publisher anymore.

I have a different Kheops game on disc, and it doesn't work very well on windows 10. So I knew going in that this might not work. I also have an XP PC to hook up that will (hopefully) make this work. I was just trying to make it work on my main computer.
So I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure it'd be fair for me get a discount when I knew it might not work.
