  • Based upon Gustave Flaubert's 1858 novel Salammbô, this is the epic story of love and hate, revenge and rivalry. Taking place during the fall of Carthage to the Roman Empire, you play Spendius, slave and close companion of Matho, a Libyan mercenary, who is in love with Salammbô, General Hamilcar's daughter. As Spendius you must outwit rebel forces and rescue the City of Carthage as well as reunite Matho with his true love.

    Find inventory items, talk to numerous non-player characters and solve a variety of different puzzles in this first-person point and click, mouse-driven adventure.
