Repetitive Sales

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I've noticed the sales have become extremely repetitive when compared to a few years ago. There's a particular small group of games (the ones in the current sale) that seem to go on sale at least every couple of months often with very little variety in between.
I used to check this store very often when you had frequent and diverse sales but I've started to forget more and more.

Sorry about that. I'm only doing this part-time and have limited time. It takes a lot of time to arrange sales when many developers and publishers are involved, so mainly focusing on a few at the moment. But you're welcome to buy games at full price as well. :)

But you're also welcome to suggest games you would like to see on sale.

Honestly, the thing that stops me from buying games full price is my huge backlog. Since full price is full price, there's no point in buying something until the moment I want to play it.
Sales make me buy things in advance since the discount is fleeting. And that's why I have a big backlog!

If the current strategy is working well then there's nothing to fix! I have all of the games currently on sale though, either here or somewhere else.

I understand. Maybe work on the backlog before buying any new games? :)

But feel free to suggest games you would like to see on sale in the future.

Oh I am! But it really is huge.
This was not really meant to be a complaint so much as it was meant to point out that I'm quite susceptible to sales. I am a point-and-click junkie and will basically buy any point-and-click adventure on sale, assuming I don't already own it somewhere else. At this point I own everything in the current sale rotation. Back when you had small but regular sales it got me into the habit of checking every week.

I see. We'll see if we can have sales more often in the future, but at the moment there's not enough time unfortunately.
We would also like to have more point and click games in the store, but it's a bit hard to convince developers to have their games in this store.
